Just in time for the Celtic new year, Got Game Entertainment’s new ghost hunting adventure will be hitting stores on November 1st. The Lost Crown: A Ghost-hunting Adventure is a suspense-adventure game from developer Jonathan Boakes where you join two ghost-hunters as they unravel an ancient mystery and search for hidden treasures on England’s fog-shrouded coastline. Hunting in an area famed for its legends of smugglers, pirates, and ghosts you will be wielding the tools of modern-day ghost-hunters (a la T.A.P.S.) in crumbling crypts containing puzzles and get to interact with the town “locals”.
Game Features:
- Spine-tingling ghost story
- Realistic ghost-hunting, featuring actual E.V.P. (Electronic Voice Phenomena)
- Photographs of unexplained entities captured by creator Jonathan Boakes while researching the game
- Chilling original soundtrack
- Point and click gameplay with both first and third person interaction
- Cast of virtual actors to share your paranormal adventure
- Local legends to investigate, interrogate, and observe
- Realistic and integrated puzzles
Despite the ridicule I will most likely receive from even mentioning this, I honestly have a “degree” in Ghost-Hunting and have been on many investigations in various states over the past 10 years- including the infamous Waverly Hills in Louisville, Ky (overrated hype). So, I definitely plan on playing The Lost Crown, just to see if the equipment is indeed accurate and if the basis for the game is “realistic”. I will let you know if the game is worth playing or if it is just another piece of garbage intend on cashing-in on the latest trend in the paranormal. Stay tuned.
