The Last True Sims 2 Expansion is out: Bon Voyage

EA Games has released what everyone assumed “hoped” would be the last true expansion pack for the Sims 2 series before Sims 3, Bon Voyage. Sure, there will be more Stuff Packs but this is the last time gameplay will be effected. This new expansion introduces vacations into the game, similar to the original Sims series Vacation expansion.
Whisk your Sims away from their everyday routines and take them on exciting trips to three exotic locations! Whether relaxing on a lush tropical island in a luxury suite, camping with the family on a pristine mountaintop, or exploring the culture of the Far East, your Sims will enjoy new activities to relax and rejuvenate them. Send your Sims packing for the trip of a lifetime!
The Sims 2 series has paralleled every Sims expansion pack put out accept for Making Magic. EA claims this will be the last true expansion pack, but will they actually skip the chance to bring Magic to the Sims 2? There are tons of magic and supernatural oriented game mods and skins out on the internet. It would surprise me if EA fails to cash in on this trend, especially with the popularity of magic in movies and literature.
UPDATE: Apparently EA has seen the potential to make more money off the Sims 2 series before they release the next generation of The Sims games. Bon Voyage came out with a notice of another expansion pack for Sims 2; Hobbies. There may be hope for a magical expansion pack after all, if magic isn’t including with Hobbies.

I don’t really want to get into an argument with anyone, but first of all Gina, maybe it’s just how you talk on the internet, but you honestly do not sound like you are in any kind of university, considering I know sixteen year olds that speak English better than you. By the way if you are in your final year of obtaining a biology degree, can you tell me something that would possibly prove that? All I’m saying about this is that if you want to be taken seriously by anyone, don’t talk like a moron. Yeah, I’ve pretty much got to agree with Tim and Chrisy on this one. Gina, it was a moronic statement. You don’t come off as a university student (I am one myself and I don’t type anything like you), and your arguments resorted to slandering Chrisy with no foundation to argue from. To be honest, you were asking for it. If Chrisy wouldn’t have pointed out your stupid remark, I probably would have jumped at the opportunity. There’s a difference between prudeness and politeness/knowing what is appropriate for the situation. You don’t have any way of knowing how many 10 year old kids are out there reading this stuff.
On a tangent, Gina isn’t the only moron that talks like this online, and it annoys the crap out of me. The whole thing with shortening words or changing their spellings is idiotic. @Tim I’ve been keeping up with Free Time info as well. It actually looks pretty good, considering. When I first heard about it, it sounded pretty boring.
I love the sims…..all of them. I’m sure that EA are very capable of resolving everyone concerns. I myself have everty single sims game that ever came out for the pc. It would a pain the “huppla” to buy every same exps for the Sims 3. Would I do it…….yes, but I don’t want to.
Here is a challenge! Someone who has every single sims pc game….figure out the price on your whole entire sims collection( includng the org…sims to the sims 2). Or even guess!!! I’m Dying to know.

Hi just been reading this forum and from the past bit of it gina it was a bit out of order but Chrisy from the last piece of text that you wrote, it was you that started the argument because gina just left a comment and you went for her saying it was a stupid comment, and she was just saying something probably to catch people eyes and for the record I thought it was funny.

If you are too much of an idiot to see what actually started it in the first place, you should probably take some reading comprehension classes. I don’t know, its just a thought. If Gina wasn’t such a complete waste of space, she would have realized it was neither funny nor appropriate. If you somehow thought it was funny, I feel for you because moronic has never equated with humorous in my book. If you hadn’t brought up something that has been settled for over a week you would have been able to make a clear judgement on who is right (Chrisy) and who is an immature idiot (Gina). i know this is a little far fetched- but do you guys reckon that instead of sims dissapearing off to other lots (like school and work) do you reckon they will change this for the sims 3 to make it more realistic?…….. just a thought!
jo-jo that would be nice, but who knows, I doubt it. That’s why they made Uni and Open For Business, so we could follow them to school and work. It’s still not the same though like we all want, but I don’t see how they could make it any more detailed than Uni and OFB, so I think we’ll just have to make due.

Back to the Sims… jo-jo, I think it would be too much of a challenge to make a game where you follow your sims to work. If you have multiple sims with jobs or school it would be nearly impossible to go to each sims work or school with them. Perhaps if they made it so you picked which sim was your “main” sim and followed them and let the other characters be the secondary ones, that would work. I’ll look into it and see if there is any info about it out there.

We have Japanese foriegn exchange students that have better English gramar than most Americans. How sad is that? Did you know that 1 million plus Iraqi civilian deaths caused by the American invasion? What about the 30,000 kids that starve to death DAILY?
Maybe there is something wrong with my brain, but I tend to equate stupid people with ignorance, and I equate ignorance with not knowing what the hell is going on in the world, and thats why stupid people make me mad. If you would just at least talk like you aren’t stupid, I don’t automatically assume you don’t give a crap about the nearly 11 million people (mostly kids) that starved to death in 2007, or the 1 million Iraqis dead as a result of war (90 percent of which are civillians).
