The Intro Movie for Tabula Rasa

NC Soft has unveiled the intro movie for their highly-anticipated MMORPG, Tabula Rasa. The video essentially sets the stage for the game’s world and reveals how Earth was conquered and mankind was sent into battle on an alien world. Frankly, it’s an awesome video. Of course pretty much all the media that’s been released for this game makes me all the more certain I’ll be waiting to pick it up when it’s released October 2nd. Gawd how I wish this was an entire movie. It’s amazing how the hair in this trailer is leaps and bounds beyond the Spirits within Final Fantasy movie from a few years ago. And this is just a game trailer.
It does look good. But I wouldn’t go as far as to say it’s leaps and bounds above Spirits Within. Looks almost like they hired the Enix/Square render army to do that intro. I know WETA Digital is offering its services to game developers now. Wouldn’t suprise me is Square/Enix was doing the same.
