The Heist of the Century

By David on Tuesday, July 24th, 2007 at 10:47 PM PST In Game Related Laws, Gamer Life

In what might be one of the strangest robberies in history, 2 Milwaukee teenagers broke into a Target with a sledgehammer. Did they steal jewelry? Nope, their target was a single video game. That’s right. They risked countless years in prison for $60. Looking at the video on the local Wisconsin news station’s site, I can’t seem to tell what specific game they stole. Perhaps they were trying to steal a Wii but couldn’t find one, as it seems stealing might be the only way to get one these days (zing!).

Check the video here to see these two geniuses pull off the heist of the century. If nothing else, watch it for the sultry sounds and classic charm of local reporter Melissa McCrady. Yowza.

I have information. These 2 kids are major D-bags.
    Does that count?
