Spellborn International and Frogster have relaunched The Chronicles of Spellborn website with a new design and features. Gamers can check out the interactive Flash driven timeline chronicling the events of Spellborn’s detailed backstory. The history has been advanced to the “War of Shadow’s Hammer” 632-634 AC providing a wealth of information on races, places, and nemeses. The Flash format is much easier to navigate than the developer diary series.
Spellborn has also released The Chronicles of Spellborn ‘Raznilof PvP’ Trailer. The TCoS combat system isn’t your average MMO fare. It relies on player skill and control rather than formulas, percentages and luck. There is no auto-targeting and the player can dodge attacks using smart tactics. The trailer demonstrates this and more in PvP settings.
TCoS is still taking sign ups for the closed beta. More testers are being added as the development team gears up for the open beta. You can get registered for a beta key, read more on TCoS’ unique combat system and check out the timeline at the new TCoS website. TCoS launches November 18th in Europe and North America.

After playing the disapointment that is Warhammer online, I really hope that this game suceeds and is actually fun to play. If this turns out to be another huge disapointment I think I might be done with MMO’s for a long long time.
