The 1UP Show: Mythos, Betas, and Cosplayers, Oh My!

The wild and crazy folks over at 1UP are at it again this Friday. This week’s 1UP show runs the gamut of gaming, including all of the following:
- Shawn Elliot and Anthony Gallegos going head to head in Company of Heroes.
- Shawn, Anthony, and Jay Frechette discussing their experiences in the new MMO Mythos, including an impromptu chat with Flagship Studios lead producer Max Schaefer.
- David Ellis and Matt Chandronait talking about the Battlefield Bad Company beta.
- Shane Bettenhausen and Ryan O’Donnell checking out the Sixaxis motion contols in the Wipeout HD beta.
Oh, and you can check out Shane arguing with Jeremy Parish over cosplayers. This begs the question: Are cosplayers something worth arguing over?

Just checked it out and overall it was another fine show. Mythos looks really promising. I'm a huge fan of Diablo and the fact that it's free really entices me. I like how Flagship decided to take a different route with the business end of the game by introducing something Asian game companies have been doing for some time (i.e. ijji) which is charging players for optional content.
Battlefield: Bad Company… well…listen to the upcoming podcast to hear my thoughts on it.
Wipeout simply looked amazing. I haven't played Wipeout lately so I'd be interested to get back into that game once it's released on the PSN. The Sixaxis might take some getting used to, but I'll really try to dedicate myself to it.
