Ten Video Game Movie Ideas and the Directors to Make Them

There’s an interesting article over at New York Entertainment (of all places) that lists ten video games followed by essentially short movie pitches by the author. Yeah, that’s been done a few times before, but what makes this one stand out is that he picks a director and tailors a storyline for them. My personal favorite is the idea of a Second Life movie directed by David Lynch about a small town cop who begins to lose his grip on reality after wandering a recreation of L.A. so much in the online community. Hey, Ridley Scott’s seriously talked about doing a Monopoly movie, so anything’s possible. But please, please
