Blake Snow over at GigaOM.com has posted an article divulging the Top 10 most popular MMO games according to active users. Now, before I have lunatic fans of Vampire: TM banging on my door and threatening to bite my neck and suck the life out of me, please note that I am not the one who made this list, as I am sure Blake did not either- if you are upset, just find more lovers of the undead to join up. Anne Rice should have enough freaks hanging outside her home participating in a candlelight vigil, or if you strike out there, go to Bar Sinister in Hollywood where there are a number of vampire aficiandos.
Here is the list:
- World of Warcraft (of course) -8.5 million
- Habbo Hotel – 7.5 million
- Runescape – 5 million
- Club Penguin- 4 million
- Webkinz – 3.8 million
- Gaia Online- 2 million
- Guild Wars – 2 million
- Puzzle Pirates -1.5 million
- Lineage 1 and 2 – 1 million
- Second Life – 500, 000

What the hell is Habbo Hotel?
Don’t show your ignorance boy….
its a really fun game aimed mostly at teens
