Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection Going Online

The Playstation Network downloadable Tekken 5 is going to receive a major upgrade in the very near future, the ability for online play! The update will be available in the Playstation Store as an update pack for PS3 owners who already own the title.

The update will allow for Opti Match, Quick Match, Custom Match and Friend Matches as different types of online play. Not only that, but the update will also add a Practice mode which will allow players to hone in on their Tekken skills as well as the addition of a Survival mode which will pit players against enemies round after round with a limited health bar.

This is great news for Tekken 5 fans who have been dying to get some online action with their favorite fighter for some time. Check out the screens below to get an idea of what to expect in the update.
