Swap Star Points for Wii Points at the Wii Shop

The official Nintendo UK web site has been relaunch with a snazzy new look and some worthwhile new features. Players can now redeem their Star points for cool Nintendo swag rather than the ringtones and lame wallpapers formerly in the Star Catalog. If you have no ambition to own your very own gold Zelda statue, you now have the option to swap out your Star points for Wii points at the new Wii Points Card Shop as a Club Nintendo benefit.
Nintendo says: “The new site endeavours to make detailed Nintendo product information accessible to a wider audience, with clear access to information about Nintendo’s current hardware and software, as well as providing a rich archive of gaming experiences past.”
Nintendo has also revamped the support section and assure players that their “improved search engine will help visitors find games of their interest more easily, while special interest sites such as Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection and Touch! Generations can be directly accessed.”
The site is up and running at Nintendo.co.uk.
