Super Smash Bros. Brawl Welcomes King Dedede

The Super Smash Bros. Brawl Dojo welcomes a new competitor, ready to join in the brawl. King Dedede, a monarch in his own mind has taken time out of ruling Dream Land to join in the fun. He wields a huge mechanized hammer to beat his opponents into shape.
Dedede joins Bowser and Donkey Kong in the heavyweight class.
I think the Brawl team is really reaching here. Who aren’t they going to put in? Heaven forbid we complain about getting too much but seriously, who going to want to play King Dedede with all the other cool character options?
I would. Just to see and play awesome matches with Dedede, Kirby and MetaKnight. It would be a Kirby series KO fest.
King Dedede won Sakurai’s online Japan poll…over others like Metaknight and Diddy.
Hell, I was actually really waiting for Dedede.
Who wouldn’t want to play as a giant penguin with a freakin’ huge mallet. It’ll be fun to pit him against the Ice Climbers in an epic hammer battle.
So long as they don’t put Shadow in, I don’t think they can go wrong. Honestly, Shadow…makes me cry a little inside.
The poster of this article is a moron. Dedede is the best addition yet in my opinion and plenty of people have been wanting him since the beginning.

1.Sonic The Hedgehog (DUH)
2.Metaknight (my favorite kirby character)
3.DeDeDe (i love the kirby series)
4.Snake (i would probably put him #2 but i havent played the games to much, i know about him though and he is awesome)
5.Pit (i think his character design is amazing)
king dedede is gon to make a great character, i would list him in my top 5 along with metaknight, pit, pokemon trainer and ike
all opinion, all opinion. as for mine, i definitely would place King D. down the list, but the Kirby trinity is now complete and it’ll be interesting to see his Final Attack. for those of you who don’t like King Dedede, don’t worry and stop crying. no one’s making you play him come february.
to my colleague William Hart: there are gonna be a lot of super smash fans who are unfamiliar with the kirby franchise. it’s understood that the super smash titles have been a conglomeration of nintendo characters, but there’s bound to be a few of us that looked at the addition of King D. and said, huh? there are many who didn’t see his first appearance in ‘92.
nintendo IS reaching out to all sorts of games tho, but no matter how many characters i can choose from, the first player i’ll be making you all cry with is Link.
king dedede is sucha cheater, but hes a great addition to the game.
id have to say pit is the best addition, though.
