Super Smash Bros. Brawl Introduces Sheik

Super Smash Bros. Brawl has welcomed Zelda’s alter ego, Sheik to the dojo. Like Samus, Zelda has two ways to dish out damage. Use her down special move to transform into Sheik.
Sheik is modeled after unused designs created for The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, so she has the same great look. In my opinion, it’s one of the best models I’ve seen for SSBB yet.
As for special moves, Sheik has her own set unique from Zelda’s except for the down special move, Transform. Her standard move is Needle Storm, triggering the side special move will execute her Chain maneuver and she performs Vanish for her up special move. Capture the Smash Ball and Sheik will execute her Final Smash, Light Arrow.

I wonder what they were planning for TP then if this was an unused design…you don’t just go and spend the time and effort to make this kinda thing and then not use it for no reason.
Still, looks cool.
I think they were merely drawings… not you know, real models.. just concept art..
My favorite character makes a return. I can breathe easy now. Anyone whose played an expirenced sheik-er knows just how good she is. Her combos are the best. I just wish her specials were more useful
good to see shiek again i wonder if she will be selectable like zero suit samus or if you need to select zelda before you can transform? we’ll just wait and see i guess. peace
Damnit…Her moves sound *EXACTLY* the same as they were in Melee. That’s just stupid. Nothing new, Nintendo? DO I HAVE TO SPOUT JAPANESE GIBBERISH FOR YOU TO LISTEN?! YOU ONLY PAY ATTENTION TO JAPANESE GAMERS’ CONCERNS, WHAT? YOU MUST, BECAUSE YOU’RE ALWAYS MAKING GOOD GAMES THAT COULD BE *GREAT* IF THEY HAD A FUCKING AMERICAN TOUCH. I don’t like this country’s government, but let’s be real. America has some of the best game developers in the world.
I *can’t* be alone in this…does anyone else think that they should fucking get some CAUCASIAN INPUT ON THINGS FROM TIME TO TIME?! CHRIST
No, your very much alone in this methinks.
And getting that worked up over something this pointless is proof positive that you need to put down the controller and learn not to take gaming this seriously, it’s a video game character, not the end all be all of your existence.
Lighten up.
You sound like you drank a little before writing this. I do wish nintendo would just take an internet poll for the world, but its no that big a deal. My sources at nintendo tell me sheik has new attacks.
The darts, for one, can go through people now, and have a delayed paralyzing effect. Her whip is longer and easier to control plus it can grapple on to the edges. All her standard smash attacks are different mostly. All characters have undergone these types of changes, even the veteran characters. So no matter who your character is, you can expect to find something new about them.
How xenophobic does HATER sound? Yes americans make good games but the japanese have been doing it for a hell of a lot longer than america. And you forget that this game is a sequal, therefore all of the characters moves have been tweaked to better balance them. I loved sheik in melee and I probably will in brawl but I hope they nerfed the knock back on her moves, she was far too poweful for what she she was supposed to be. Sheik = damage dealer, Zelda = KOer.
I love how everybody was freaking out thinking sheik wasn’t coming back i knew all along its just common sense.
You guys…are just plain stupid for thinking things like this. Sheik is back, end of story. Drop it!
Her knock back moves I.e Fair has been nerfed, as an experianced Shiek player this will be more of a challenge, as she was in fact just ‘too’ good in melle :p
But it seems she can execute more moves dur to increased speed, I saw a vid of her doing 3 Uair’s in one jump!
