Super Mario Galaxy Makes Its Way To The Top On Game Rankings

GameRankings.com has Super Mario Galaxy listed as the highest rated game of all-time for the time being. I don’t think I could rate this game as the best video game ever myself, but many people and reviewers seem to love it. Super Mario Galaxy could possibly end up in my top 100 list of console games, but #1 is really pushing it a little too hard.

i love this game so much. i don’t have it yet, but i really want it. when i do get a wii, this will be the first game i buy for it no questions asked. well i problay won’t be able to get a wii until late december or early 2008.

Daniel, is it really that good? I might pick it up then during the Toys R Us Wii promotion.
Its a great/fun mario game, but these super high score are a little ridiculous. Its far from perfect…
And if you get or have a wii this is a must own game.
Super mario galaxy is suprisingly addicting, I am currently playing Gears of war for the pc so I haven’t played that much, but one of my friends was over and they played it for six hours straight.
I hate Super Mario Galaxy. You know why? Well, I haven’t been able to stop playing since I got it on Fri. I’ve got university assignments to hand in soon and the only thing I can think of is playing this game. I don’t think I’ve been so adicted to a game like this for more than a 10 years.
Damn you Nintedo for making this game so good!

I saw an article article in one of the New York papers (I forget which one) that called Galaxy the “Greatest Video Game Ever Made.” While I think that’s probably a bit much, I’m glad to see the Wii finally getting some titles that make people want to dust it off and break out the wiimotes again.

man i don’t know why u harsh on super mario galaxy. i have the wii now. my mom had it since november she just wanted to surprise me. i love the game. i wish that i had be alittle more difficult. i’m almost done. like 94 stars. i’m gonna buy some more wii games and also some nice gamecube games. like super mario sunshine i love that game. now that is a challenging mario game no questions about that. that’s why i like it. the challenge and one of the best lookin gamecube games. i also want star fox adventures
