Gamecock Media Group has announced that Firefly Studios’ Stronghold Crusader Extreme has gone gold. The latest game in the Stronghold Crusader series will allow players to have over 10,000 units on the screen at one time. Extreme also adds an “Extreme Trail” line of missions and opponent AI that will keep RTS fans busy.
Gamers can grab a copy of Stronghold Crusader Extreme in retail stores May 28.

Way to rape a dead horse, Gamecock.
Im confused they re-released a really old game but now you can have shit loads of units which im sure could of been done just as easy with some modding? Hey look its age of empires 1, but wait now you when you make 1 swordsman you get 100 of the crappy 2d sprites clumped togther? something along those lines?
The first Stronghold, and Crusader, were awesome. But the AI could be easily tricked and generally would only send the exact same amount of units in each attack wave. If they’ve upped the AI, I’d buy it just for that.
Besides, its only $30. I’ve paid $60 for games which I only get 3 hours of entertainment from. Games don’t need to be 3d to be good.
