Strolling Down Memory Lane: Nintendo Museum Documentary

This video was made by The King of Games site crew and gives you a look inside the Nintendo Museum in Osaka, Japan. The museum shows off a lot of items from the very early days of Nintendo, when they were just a card-making company. From there they moved into the realm of toys, and the museum got their hands on some design drawings and prototypes for several bizarre ideas; like the “Light Telephone,” which looks like a Super 8 camera with a flashlight taped to it. Then of course Nintendo shifted their focus to video games, and the museum has a lot of systems and accessories that never saw the light of retail stores. It’s a pretty fun trip through the history of one of gaming’s most influential companies. Seeing the Virtual Boy again made me cough up a little vomit though.
