Street Fighter IV Scans Leaked

The next issue of EGM will feature cover story on Street Fighter IV along with some new screenshots from the game. Of course, that doesn’t stop some scans of the issue from making their way online. These scans shows just two characters, Ryu and Ken, fighting in what looks like Chun Li’s stage from Street Fighter 2. This would all seem pretty typical, except everything has been fully realized in glorious 3D. From what we’ve heard so far, the game should play very similarly to the old 2D games, just with a 3D graphical update; and that could be a very good thing.

It was pretty much inevitable that these would hit the net. The 13-page exclusive article is well worth my subscription to EGM. I can’t wait to play SFIV!
overly colorful + blacklining characters = fucking ugly
I guess it was inevitable that it’d finally go 3d. 2d is just too hard to do I guess. So as long it plays 2d then I’m cool with it. Everyone must keep in mind though of Capcom’s first attempt at a 3d street fighter(SFEX). Turning street fighter into virtua fighter = no. Just giving SF a 3d face lift = ok.
Yeah im all for better graphics but dont fuck with the 2d aspect of it.
I’m pissed off as the graphic style seen in the screen shots doesn’t live up to the look of the teaser trailer. Seems like their making a graphical update of the original street fighter game, what with it looking so colorful…
It won’t be possible to play street fighter as it should be played (fast and technical) with all these dodgy camera angles. It looks ugly and I expect it to play sluggish.. I hope a video proves me wrong. I love 3rd strike but these pics don’t make this game look like it’ll play anywhere near as well as that that previous installment.
