Street Fighter IV Characters Shown in Action (in English and Without the Camcorder Look)

Technically we’ve posted this trailer for Street Fighter IV on Gaming Today before, but that one was really a camcorder video of a TV, complete with people walking in front of it and talking in the background. Now Filefront’s managed to get the same trailer that was shown, but in English and with only the pure fighting action to see and hear. Capcom also revealed a batch of new screens for the game that show the basic characters in all their stretchy, electrifying, and hairy glory. As I seem to be saying about far too many titles these days: this game just can’t come out soon enough.

is it just me, or is the frame rate on the in game shots really bad!?
there’s a ghost in my house…boo! plxzzzze help me??!!! i’m all alone and my fingers are tied in a knot cause muy computer is lame.,,.
I have no idea what I am doing. I finally got it all together and I forgot where I put it!
SSSSOOOMMMME oooooooooonnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnneeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! Is there anybod y outthere? just nod if you can here me?
is there anyone HOME! Cartman. there should be a eric cartman fan club. I would join. Cartman rocks because no matter what he does, in the end, he always wins!
Awful framerate on that video. Barely watchable. Is that Capcom or Filefront screwing up?
Blah it’s practically SF2 with better graphics and no akuma? Wtf.
Whatever the opposite of impressed is- thats what I am.
This game looks just awful and I’m not talking frame rate. I’m referring to the mediocre 3D characters and lack of anything to be excited about. Street Fighter 3 was better than this hunk of junk, and to be honest, I’m looking WAY more forward to King Of Fighters 12 which I think you guys should go look up because it looks amazing! It’s still 2D but the sprite size has quadrupled and the frame numbers doubled! Its bad ass looking and to be honest, it’s probably gonna sink SF4 after people get a good look at it. Anyways, in summary- this looks awful.
i think they would have been better off sticking to the 2D style. realy realy good HD drawings would have looked a lot better. SF characters look weird in 3d
Also the shadowing system is so bad! i saw similar effects on the PS1!! they dont need to be realtime but they should at least bend with the light. casting shadows on flat ground is the easyist form of shadowing it should look perfect!. the animations are slick but the game stutters and looks a bit dodju in general.
also the effects take over the screen. while im all for a bit of eye candy it doesent look right to me
i give props to street fighter for putting muscles on chun-li, how the hell in most fighting games does a skinny hot woman kick the crap out of a steroid fiend, i just dont see it.
I think the scenes look a little choppy as well, but I’m just hoping that’s in the clip alone and not the gameplay. I’m not looking forward to SF4 being 3D. Never was the first time they did it. The characters do look weird. Their faces are butt-ugly and bodies are too bulky. The whole anime-esque aspect that made up the series is gone. The only thing that helps redeems this is the awesome special attack camera movements. Something that would take too long to produce in 2D. Or should I say too long and too hard to stream the attacks together seamlessly. Either way I hope Capcom isn’t expecting too much from this title. Cause I’m not. But you better believe their still gonna get my hard earned quarters.
are the people posting comments on here retarded? the game looks amazing! artwork like this has never been attempted yet, and it plays fast. sure the frame rate may be an issue on this video, but rememeber this post when it becomes the most talked about game again.
Damn… no Sakura. lol
PLEASE include a volume control in your Flash player. Ouch.
id lick chun li’s asshole

Actually you should look up Unlimited SaGa. That was the 1st game to put hand drawn animation in 3D space. That is the route SFIV could and should have taken.
I can’t wait for this game to come out. It looks awesome. Hopefully, the gameplay is as great as the trailer makes the game out to be.
