The wait is over. Midway has announced the Stranglehold Demo is now available on Xbox LIVE Marketplace. Now fans can get a taste of this 3rd person action adventure title with all the impact of a motion picture blockbuster. Director John Woo and Chow Yun-Fat pump the action into this thriller. Experience the cinematic quality gunplay and massively destructible environment as you take on the role of John Woo’s “Hard Boiled” Inspector Tequila. Cross the line between sworn duty into bloody vengeance as you blast your enemies in real time gunplay or Tequila time.

The full release of Stranglehold hits the shelves August 27th for the Xbox 360 and PC, and September 17th for the PlayStation 3. Keep your sites on a downloadable demo for PC and PS3 coming soon.

    I have been excited about this game since I saw footage over a year ago. Max Payne is one of my favorite games of all time.

    I just found out something depressing though. Looks like the PC version may require dual core cpu:

    Hard Boiled is one of my all time favourite films so I am definitely getting this when I get a PS3. It also comes with a BluRay version of Hard Boiled packaged with it.
