Stargate Worlds Forum Grows 30% Post Beta Announcement

The Stargate Worlds Forums population is booming after the announcement that forum members will get first consideration for beta testing. Registered members have swelled 30% in less than a week.
“The Stargate Worlds Community Team is thrilled at the response we have on the forums right now,” said Senior Community Manager Katie Postma. “We have grown in size by close to 30% since we announced that beta users would be chosen from the forum membership. This shows us that there is a huge population of Stargate fans and gamers alike who can’t wait to see this game!”
Between the original movie, the SG-1 series and Stargate: Atlantis; The Stargate franchise has a large and loyal following. It’s no surprise that gamers are already lining up for the SGW beta, even though it’s still a few months off. You can still get in on the deal by registering on the Stargate Worlds Forum.
Loyal fan that I am, I still can’t bring myself to do that, because I HATE HATE *HATE* forum nerds IE anyone who spends more than ONE FUCKING SECOND ON ANY FORUM EVER. Fuckers waste their goddamn lives and think it actually MEANS SOMETHING?! WHAT THE FUCK.

Excellent point. There is a massive difference between people who waste their lives posting on forums and people who lead productive, relevant lives posting aimless vitriol on annoucement posts. Clearly one kind of internet poster is far superior than another.
