Stargate World Online Store Opens Before MMO

Cheyenne Mountain Entertainment and MGM Entertainment have opened up an online store for Stargate Worlds gear. According to Stargate Worlds Community News, gamers can grab clothes and accessories for the Stargate Worlds MMO before it launches… if it launches on the official website.
As Gaming Today reported earlier this month, Cheyenne Mountain has been having trouble meeting its payroll. According to the http://www.days-since-cheyenne-mountain-employees-have-been-paid.com the devs have gone 34 days since their last paycheck.
I hate to think that offering Stargate Worlds gear is part of a last ditch effort to fund an MMO that is almost complete, but has run out of financial backing. It would be a shame to never see Stargate Worlds online.
