Square Enix Registers “Crystal Guardians” Patent

Square Enix recently registered the term “Crystal Guardians” with the Patent Office, intending it to be used as a title for a future video game. Rumors have already started spinning out of control, but a couple rumors circulating seem to make some sense.
The first primary rumor is that “Crystal Guardians” will simply be the North American and Euro name for “The Young King and the Promised Land, a popular Wii Ware title. The other rumor that makes sense is that it will be a whole new Crystal Chronicles title. At this point, we have no idea what’s going on, but I really hope it’s actually the title for a new CC game.
