Spore Releases First Playable Demo at Leipzig

Remember Spore? I totally do. It was going to revolutionize the way we play games, bringing player customization to new levels. That was a few years ago. Spore has since gone into hiding, only poking its nose up every once in a while in sort of a “we are still here†gesture that involved little more than new screenshots.
Well fret no more Spore fans, as it seems the first exciting news in quite a while has just been confirmed. Spore will be playable at the Leipzig Gaming Convention. This is a big step, as a truly playable version of the title has never been displayed. What has the EA team been working on for these last couple of years? I have trust that the wait will be worth it.
The biggest question that remains unanswered is when Spore will actually hit store shelves. The official word mentions a late-2008 release, but there’s plenty of precedent that would suggest the date would spill over into 2009. So the game may not be ready just yet, but at least soon we will be able to have a few new videos to tide you over for the next few… years.

where do you get the Demo Will? As much as I would rather have the full =P but, A demo would be great, to help Populated the game before it is released, you don’t have to pay us to do that. I’ll do it for free =)

, they dont really know when the game will be released but they’re just guessing, like any other game store or website. 
The OFFICIAL NON-FAKE RELEASE DATE will be announced in THE END OF JANUARY by WILL WRIGHT and the SPORE TEAM so hang tight!!!

Oh anyways the Demo is supposed to come out a month be4 the game and its supposed to be a creature editor. (They released the demo at Leizpeg and ONLY at Leispeg)So if the game comes out in March April Or May, The Demo is going to come out february, March or April…. And Guess what theres a chance the Demo is coming our soon!!!!!
Oh and Yoshi weve been Waiting for fricken 3 years .. they just keep delaying it… I think its because the Stock for EA is goign down or sumthing i dunno

The Demo is going to be only through the cell stage and a little bit into the creature stage. It will Release sometime it March, or Late Feb. And I Pre-Ordered the game at Game Stop and the full game will Release May 1st, National Prayer Day and it has evolution in it weird eh? But I don’t care I’ll be the 1st one there when it comes out beating all.
Also for the people wanting it soo bad I have been actually tracking this game since it was announced in December 2004. For the people that have been waiting as long as I have the wait is nothing. I have been waiting 5 years I think I can wait another 3 months. Also the people yelling the crap I HAVE BEEN WAITING SINCE 4 YEARS! Have not really, some found out this years about the game.
I discovered spore in a gaming magazine on the back ground of the magazine where cells from the cellular phase of spore i thought it was a cheap 5 dollar game that u could download from pogo.com where you can only play as a cell i searched it on the web and iv’e been hooked ever since i found out in 2007
