Spore: Galactic Edition Revealed

GameStop has revealed the special “Galactic Edition” of Spore that will come packed with goodies and an $80 price tag. So what does that extra $30 get you? Probably more information about Spore than you ever really wanted to know:
- ‘Making of Spore’ DVD video
- ‘How to Build a Better Being’ DVD video, by National Geographic Channel
- ‘The Art of Spore’ hardback mini-book
- Fold-out Spore poster
- Premium 100-page Galactic Handbook
Like I said, more information than you’d probably want to know about Spore. It’s too bad they couldn’t include something a little more fun in there, but I’m sure hardcore Spore-ophiles will eat this stuff up.

I agree iKiddo. I hate when collectors editions don’t actually have in game extras, items, etc because that is all I care about. I really hate when they add stuff you can pretty much find on the internet etc..
Yeah chances are the book will be an e book in days of release and these making of videos are always poor … Yes gears of war im looking straight at you.
And the books are usually full of rubbish ..
But at least Gta IV made the spec edition worth buying.
i´m really hot for spore, but this GE seems to be a waste of good money

Well – it might be hyped, but there are some great ideas in this. I love the creature creator so far, therefore i guess i will enjoy the game (but maybe only as a construction kit). I doubt though that this game will really be a mass title, i guess most people will get bored really fast according to the vids. I´m really looking forward to create a my style folk though
IF the specs arnt to bad and i see it on offer ill pick it up … All I will do tbh.
