Splinter Cell: Conviction Going Back to the Drawing Board -Delayed Until 2010

According to CVG, Splinter Cell Conviction has been taken “back to the drawing board” by Ubisoft Montreal which came straight from Xbox World 360 - which came from Sarah over at the laundry-mat who heard it from Sven down at the pub who in turn was told this by Seamus while out picking gooseberries. Ok, enough joshing around.
CVG states that in the latest issue of Xbox World 360 has heard “that the surprising development decision has forced Splinter Cell back into the festive period of 2009 - or as late as Spring 2010. XBW says that the decision was made after Conviction was outdated by more recent gaming developments”.
Ubidays will be occurring in Paris next week, so I am sure an official announcement is sure to follow.
Thanks: CVG

"Conviction was outdated by more recent gaming developments"
LMAO, let the games begin, *flame shield-check, popcorn-check, beer-check* now, who wants to guess which games they are talking about?

I think the 'outdated by more recent gaming developments' comment is just another way of saying 'the game wasn't fun, we're going to have to remake it from a different angle'.

Just a rumor and not true. Game is not going through a redesign.
