Ahh the fun things you can do with headlines. This little tidbit of news / scandal seems to have originated with the oh-so-reputable Daily Mail. The story goes that two months ago Sony held a press event in Greece to promote God of War II. The pageantry of the event included woman wearing paint in place of tops and the aforementioned goat. Before you get too far into the gutter the goat and the girl have nothing to do with one another…I hope. Images from the party were included in this months Official Playstation Magazine. Following the bad press, Sony has launched an inquiry into the event and is removing the story from un-shipped copies of the magazine.
Now I don’t want to come across as an animal hater but come on. It’s a goat, it’s a prop, it’s another chance to make Sony the scapegoat. Don’t blame Sony for the fact that you eat meat. Meat = death, and death tastes good. Now have another combo meal and imagine you burger comes from “Patty Land”.

Honestly, the press needs to get over it. It’s not like Sony went out to a farm, stole the goat, and cut its throat in front of the assembled masses. It’s just a publicity stunt.
The funny thing is, none of the assembled press made much of a fuss over the topless females, did they? We can’t exploit that goat, but exploiting topless women is absolutely fine. Morons.
I would have used a cow, more blood
