"Regardless, a SONY based employee on a sony computer still reflects the sony corporation."

Yes it does. In the same way that the perverted and offensive posts I highlighted reflect badly for the Microsoft corporation. Far worse in fact. It's a bit dumb that you attack Sony for something and then attack me for highlighting similarly embarrassing activity by Microsoft. This whole article exists because someone did exactly what I did. So its OK for someone to do that when its anti Sony but otherwise its bad? Still, what do I expect from 360 owners? Shouldn't you be off writing graffiti on PS3 boxes or trying to cool your 360 down in a bucket of water?

You care too much.

Way too much.

This is the same sony that steals stills from PGR to promote SCEA games.
We expect this from them.

"@Norbit: Thats lame to look for Microsofts history. Don't waste your time."

After you have commented on a story by someone who has done exactly the same thing for Sony? Its funny how you condemn me for exposing Microsoft's silly Wiki posting and yet didn't do the same for the person who traced one to Sony.

"What a disgrace and low way to go"

Dumb, dumb, dumb, dumb. You don't even know who did it yet you treat it like its company policy. It might have been a subcontracted cleaner for all you know. What you said is as retarded as me trying to make out that the addition of 'Jethro' to Wiki's racial slurs page was done at the request of Bill Gates.

"Sony Caught Trolling Wikipedia Articles?"

Or "1 person using a PC in a Sony building to troll Wikipedia" to be more accurate.

I just did a little search of Microsofts ip history on Wikipedia:

131.107.151.151 was fixing typo's on the insulting to french term 'Cheese eating surrender monkeys'

202.159.8.234 was editing the page for the term 'Upskirt'

203.41.151.9 was editing the page for the term 'Cameltoe'

192.92.90.66 added the term 'Jethro' to the list of ethnic slurs page

yeah it is tough to control what employee's do, but the company is still ultimately responsible.

At first I thought the same as William, that it reflects poorly on the company. And in reality that is how the public will likely take it. But when you really think about it, a company cannot monitor its employees 24x7. Unless the individual was given an explicit order to do what they did from the very top of the organization, it's just poor judgement on the part of an individual.

Quite. Perhaps he was on a break; in some cases, acting outside of work time (ie. a break) still requires you to act in the best interest of that company; slating another game on a rival console will hardly be what Sony want to have thrown against in terms of an acusation.

I'm sure this is simply a Sony employee who took matters into his own hand, but it still reflects poorly upon the company.

mean*

and follow up, it's happened many times before. Someone who worked in some film company edited the article for some film to say it got terrible ratings from papers and mags that hadn't read it, and they found the guy who did it and fired him on the spot for besmirching the company name by spreading lies on their IP.

Doesn't nessasarily (I know thats mispelled) Sony is doing it. Sony hires a lot of people, and they don't tell them what to do every minute of every day. All it takes is one employee with nothing to do, and a lot of loyalty to misinterpret what he should be doing in his spare time.
