Every time a game shows trailers people say it’s good then they change their mind when it comes it, it’s funny but annoying to see this pattern over and over.

One character alone for so long gets annoying and makes me want to see another character again, also a limit in this game.

I don’t think the game will be bad, but it doesn’t look awesome or anything so I don’t think it will save the series. It looks…normal, like merely running to the end in a not so challenging way and a strange story with the werewolf thing, which is so far fetched it doesn’t feel right, especially with all the forms Sonic ha taken in the past. Before Sonic’s abilities were amazing becuase they were special, but his abilities don’t seem so special anymore, like you’d expect them. Sonic has stopped suprising me.

Pros:
-It really does have a seamless transition between 2d and 3d.
-Looks technically very good.
-Looks instinctively fun.
-Music still promising. Not as keen on the guitar riffs, but, they still work. And there’s still no wailing.
-Sonic Secret Ring-esque in places, in terms of 3d sections. In essence, that’s good because that did work in Secret Rings.
-It’s fast. Very fast.
-LOOP DE EFFING LOOPS! Yay!

Cons:
-Le’see, it has to live off Shadow the Hedgehog, Sonic Heroes and ‘Sonic the Hedgehog (+15)” as its predecessors.
-See above one for what it could be like.

Conclusion:
-Please don’t suck, otherwise, buy.

The fact is, they clearly recognise fans want 2d; “classic 2d camera transitions”, so it means that they have their eye on the older games. Besides, the plot-line, although not necessary, is actually a pretty good one, especially as it nowhere mentions any of his tag-alongs (although Tails and Knuckles are perfectly acceptable). I say let him roll, because this could be the game needed to get Sonic back into the fast-lane.
