Sega has just announced their newest multi-platform title, Sega Superstars Tennis. The game will be an arcade-style tennis game featuring a cast of over 15 playable characters from a number of different Sega games, including Sonic the Hedgehog, AiAi from Super Monkey Ball, Ulala of Space Channel 5, and Amigo from Samba De Amigo. Each character will have their own specific attributes and special skills. The courts will also be based on past Sega titles, such as the Green Hill Zone from Sonic and Carnival Town from Samba De Amigo. Players can also expect a few cameos from other beloved Sega characters. The game is also being developed by Sumo Digital, who also developed the Virtua Tennis series. The game should be out early next year for the PS3, PS2, Xbox 360, DS, and Wii.
