Sonic and Link Makes Cameos in Robot Chicken

Last night, Cartoon Network’s Adult Swim premiered a brand new episode of Robot Chicken, the stop-motion comedy goldmine from creators Seth Green and Matthew Senreich. Amongst the usual pokes at Hollywood celebrities were a couple of parodies featuring a couple of famous game characters, specifically Sonic the Hedgehog and Link and Princess Zelda from The Legend of Zelda. In the episode, we got to see how Sonic finally came to a stop and the real reason Link was so willing to go through all those dungeons to save Zelda. This isn’t the first time video game characters have been featured in the show, which is probably why it comes as little surprise that the two creators are now working on a game of their own (although it does come as a surprise that it involves Master P).
