Part of what we do on this site is collect the gaming news for the day into one stop for people to get most of their info. Most games hold off on releasing new information for awhile and then release a lot of info altogether through press releases and such. Smash Bros. on the other hand trickles out something new every weekday through their website alone. We could wait until it builds up and then report it all at once, but then it'd be really old by internet standards and not even worth covering. On the more technical side, all the writers for this website have quotas to meet. Unfortunately, there isn't always a whole lot of news out there to choose from all the time. So we often have to dig into stories that may not be some of the most interesting material, but it's basically what we have. This gets especially bad in the days leading up to a major gaming event, where companies don't even bother trying to get attention (like with the Halo 3 launch).
