Small Clip of Gary Oldman Talking about ‘The Dark Knight’ Game

Gary Oldman is a great actor, as a matter of fact he is probably one of my favorite actors of all time. Not only is he cool, has been with some of the loveliest women in Hollywood (Uma Thurman, Isabella Rossellini), and has a great sense of humor, but you honestly feel that he IS the person he is portraying on the screen. His character Sirius Black getting killed in Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix is one of the main reasons I have yet to see that film. Yes, silly I know.

Anyway, we are all well aware that he has reprized his role as Lt. James Gordon in The Dark Knight, and he sat down with G4’s Kristin Holt to talk about the movie. During the interview he let slip a small tidbit about the upcoming videogame based on the movie. Not much is revealed, only that Batman will be gliding realistically in the game, and that Oldman’s character is a bit boring in it.

I wish the video was longer than 56 seconds. The short length makes this clip very anti-climatic.

  1. Chris says:

Without Ledger, I really can’t imagine that I’ll be able to enjoy the game.

That, of course, presupposes that the game itself won’t suck.

  2. degahse says:

As the king of an amoral universe, as a purveyor of unrestricted evil for fun, Ledger’s dastardly villain, attired as sort of a rotting Clarabell, has chosen his own damnation. He’s jumped into an abyss he has dug himself, and he wants to pull us along.
