A handful of new screenshots from Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Vegas 2 have surfaced, which show off a bit more of what the game will look like. So far though, this game doesn’t look all that different from its predecessor; but that’s not necessarily a bad thing. This new installment promises to have an even more robust co-op mode, plus a few new tactics and an overhauled AI for the terrorists. All I know is this is probably going to be one of those games I buy sight unseen the day it comes out, just because the first game offered probably one of the most gripping co-op experiences ever.

they need to work on their textures….badly

  2. Nutlink says:

Go to the Ubisoft forums. Coop is going to be 2 player only. Vegas was fun, but rather than bastardizing the Rainbow Six name I wish it was under a different name.

You need to use the zoom out option

looks too fairy tale-ish, in the world of gaming its all about realism

  5. duran says:

holy shit, those textures look like Serious Sam from 2002…

    ugh.

  6. SoupNumber5 says:

Agree. Those shots don’t look too good compared other games.

You know what would be rad? A revamp of the original Ghost Recon back on the PC. That would be sweet.

  7. AZ Sulsa says:

This better not be another bad port for the PS3. The graphics were horrible at 1080i, and 720P was just barely any good. RB6 vegas was a lot of fun though, countless hours of playing it on my PS3 before COD4 came out. I haven’t touched it since the day COD4 came out.

  8. BuRnY says:

The textures look crap they better work on those

  9. hercules71185 says:

textures are horrid. People saying you need to zoom out? WTF? why not just make them better. To keep up with current games they need to do something. It does look pretty good none the less.

  10. Muir says:

It’s not done yet guys, of course the textures are bad, this is all just to get hype going for the game which will probably sell well anyway. Thanks for the update on it though.

It does look the same as the first Rainbow six vegas as the article states. I was expecting some new graphics like a COD4 realistic look. If this game looks the same and doesent offer much of a new look and better play, why get it? It will be Rainbow Six Vegas 1.5

I am a fan of Rainbow Six Vegas and like most have been converted to Call of Duty 4, which I enjoy now, even sniping and all the guns. I do like the cover system in Rainbow Six Vegas and more weapons. I hope they beef up RB6V2, they got alot more competition now adays.

  12. Ben says:

The screen shots are not bad looking but they definately look way to cartoonish. And as to “AZ sulsa” i have a solution to your problem. Buy a 360 you nimrod, my vegas looked amazing on hdmi for the 360.

  13. JT says:

Ok graphics’s arent as ace as COD 4, this game is fuckin’ amazing (well first one, sorry) One of greatest games I ever played. Vegas and COD 4 are best games on 360 hands down.
