Seriously? Dart Player Blames Poor Performance on “Wii Injury”

Did you hear the one about the dart player who exhausted himself playing Wii sports and couldn’t perform at a tournament the next day? …Yeah, that’s pretty much the joke right there. During a Boxing Day tournament, James Wade complained of some stiffness in his shoulders and back that made it harder for him to throw his darts. He still defeated his competitor, Steve Beaton, but not without some difficulty. After trying to figure out the cause for his problem, he realized that he had received a new Wii for Christmas and had spent the previous day playing a lot of Wii Boxing. The physical exertion caused him to wake up the next morning barely able to lift his throwing arm.
The moral to this story is darts are less of a sport than Wii Sports. I’d suggest he should try out a dart game on the Wii, but I wouldn’t want him to strain himself by picking up a one pound controller again.
