The final episode of Strong Bad’s Cool Game for Attractive People debuts of this Monday’s Wii-kly Update. Strong Bad Episode 5: 8-Bit Is Enough is just one of the WiiWare titles Nintendo is offering this week. Confront Trogdor the dragon before he causes more destruction than Strong Bad.

The second title is Big Kahuna Party, a party game for up to four friends. Whether you choose competitive or cooperative play, this game will bring tikis, sea creatures and tropical sun to brighten your winter doldrums.

Criterion Games is finally dropping one hell of an update on Burnout Paradise owners this Thursday. This week comes the hotly anticipated release of the new Bikes Pack, which of course adds motorcycles to the world of Burnout for the low, low price of “free.” In addition to that, the pack will come with a few new modes and challenges to keep racers occupied, as Criterion details on their website:

• Pick from 2 motorcycles featuring male or female characters and start on a whole new progression to earn your Bike License.

• 38 new against-the-clock race events – Burning Ride and Midnight Ride.

• A brand new in-game 24 hr day / night cycle that impacts traffic density and available events. (It’s fully customizable – you can make it day/night/change the clock speed – it’s up to you.)

• Dynamic weather brings an all-new look to Paradise City

• And if that’s not enough, we’ve got 70 more Freeburn Challenges too

That’s pretty meaty for a free update. I’m still a little skeptical on how the motorcycles will work in the game though; since the Burnout series is known for its brutal crashes, but they never show a driver involved. Still, this should all definitely keep Burnout Paradise players happy.

Off-road racing fans can get their hands on the PURE demo this Thursday, September 4, on both Xbox Live Marketplace and PlayStation Network.

The demo takes place on the Italy – Mount Garda track, one of 35 tracks in the game. Players must mix speed and tricks to complete the three-lap race against 15 AI competitors. The demo also includes a brief tutorial on a qualifying track to get players up to speed on the game controls.

PURE features seven actual real-world quad locals for online play. You can compete against a shrewd AI or up to 15 online racers. There are four modes available in the finished game including Race mode, Freestyle, Sprint and Freeride, an online-only mode which gives you a countdown for free-roaming and experimenting.
