Last Friday (June 1st) I told you about the new Prowler character class beta being launched for Dawnspire: Prelude. Like most betas, the Prowler had some issues, and the folks over at Silent Grove have released another patch to fix the previous patch. To let you know how truly sorry they are for the inconvenience, they have added some more cool content to this newest patch to make-up for your beta woes.
Fixes and Additions
General
- Modified team assignment which should hopefully solve issues on the Prowler beta servers.
- The launcher has been updated with a new look, updated URLs for dump uploading / patches etc, and support for asking whether to upload the dump file or not after a crash.
Prowler
- Modified Entangle. Increased cool-down from 10 to 15 seconds. Knockdown duration is now static at 1,5 seconds (previously scaled 0,5-2,0 on milestones). Slow duration is now scaled 3-9 seconds on milestones, previously static at 8 seconds.
- Modified Aimed Shot. Decreased range 5m across the board, now scaled 20-35m on milestones. Removed the Armor Penetration and added a 1 second knockdown effect when hitting dazed target.
- Aimed Shot and Sacrifice no longer triggers the Prowler to move to attack the target.
- Aimed Shot can now be properly aborted.
- Prowl is now terminated when the Prowler runs out of stamina.
- Taunt no longer stops a Prowler in Prowl mode from firing.
- Remade Sacrifice. It no longer causes a knockdown. It now causes some direct damage and causes a prolonged bleeding and daze effect on the target.
- Added a small animated indicator when you have been targeted by Sacrifice.
- Added new sounds for Sacrifice.
Seeker
- Increased the Seekers armor by 20, to 80 (40% reduction of physical damage).
Witch
- Cursed Earth and Natures Wrath can now be properly aborted.

Dawnspire: Prelude is a team-based online action fantasy RPG where gamers play with or against each other in massive PvP battles. Focusing on team work, tactics and skill, choose between five classes and gain fame by rising on global rankings and gaining individual awards for your characters. Play in guild fights that require stealth, brawn and brains to win the battle, discover magic relics and use them defensively to become the baddest warrior around.
Silent Grove Studios’ new beta v1.30 for Dawnspire: Prelude is now available to players who have a full account (bought the game) and who have played more than 100 hours. This newest addition is a new class system called The Prowler, and is now one of six playable classes in the game. Here is the full bio of this new and exciting character in Dawnspire: Prelude, and we have the beta here on FileFront.
