We’ve known that Dark Messiah of Might and Magic: Elements was coming to the Xbox 360 since Ubisoft announced it in July last year, but when the announced September release date came and went, we all just kind of forgot about it. Today, we got the new launch trailer in and if you have not played the PC version because you are a console owner, this game comes highly recommended - well at least from me. Hopefully, it will port well and live up to the fun the PC version was and still is even though any RPG coming to the Xbox 360 has some big Oblivion shoes to fill. That being said, if any game can even try to fill them, DMMME can and Arkane Studios is more than able to accomplish such a feat.
Just in case you are unfamiliar with the game, in Dark Messiah of Might and Magic: Elements players will be introduced to the dark and unforgiving world of Ashan, scarred by a bloody history and threatened by the apocalyptic prophecy of the Dark Messiah. Players will embody the young hero Sareth and choose his evolution path to acquire spells, skills and abilities that will set his destiny. The game will sports some gameplay refinements just for the console version, and a few new designs and other technical aspects.
Dark Messiah of Might and Magic: Elements is currently sitting on retail shelves as we speak and our friends in the UK can expect it to hit their shores on Valentine’s Day - awww what a sweet present that would make for someone!

If you’re down because there still has been no positive news regarding Sensible World of Soccer which was pulled from the Xbox Live Marketplace earlier this week, maybe a demo of Dark Messiah of Might and Magic: Elements will cheer you up. Or maybe the thought that the long name will break game websites around the Internet would produce a smile?
Elements is an FPS built on the Source engine, which is what powers Half-Life 2 and all of its wonderful counterparts. At least it’s got a solid starting foundation, and the mysterious description mentions single- and multiplayer campaigns which makes it sound like this demo is certainly worth a download.
I had no idea a Dark Messiah game was even coming to consoles, so this is all a pleasant surprise to me.

Dark Messiah of Might and Magic: Elements will finally be gracing the Xbox 360 with its presence in September, with the same content as the PC version and a few new extras that Jon told you about in July. These extras include the ability to explore four all-new levels - in some you will put your puzzle solving skills to the test, and in others you will just have to hack your way through. According to Ubisoft, the pace of the game will resemble Half Life 2 instead of the dungeon crawling style of Oblivion. Either way, gamers who prefer to play consoles instead of the PC will enjoy this great title, and it is high time it was bestowed upon us. As someone who loved the PC version, I am anxious to see how well it plays on the 360 in the comfort of my big chair in front of a great television.
Check out a list of game features after the break.

There are new screens up for Dark Messiah of Might and Magic: Elements. This is the new version of the popular RPG coming to the Xbox 360. The game has been tweaked considerably for smooth playing on the console. There are also three previously unreleased single player maps included in this version, along with a few new multiplayer maps. The PC version was a lot of fun, so there’s almost no doubt that this one should be as well.

Ubisoft’s Ubidays event has got all gamers psyched about the cool titles that are going to be gracing our consoles in the next few months. An interesting rumor for our PC gamers though, is the possibility of an expansion or console port for Dark Messiah. Reports are coming in that the brochure for Ubidays, displays a logo for Dark Messiah of Might and Magic: Elements. During the conference yesterday there was not any information about the game, and M&M was not even discussed. But today is another day, and more information should be trickling out of the Ubisoft event, so we will keep you posted.
