Sanya Weathers, a.k.a. “Tweety,” Speaks out on MMO Community Management

It’s not easy dealing with n00bs, but someone has to do it. Sanya Weathers was the n00b herder for Dark Age of Camelot for years, and she said, really, it’s not that hard.

Well, okay, there is a lot to learn when building and managing successful community, but jumped in and held the reigns at DAoC for quite some time, successfully so. To her, n00bs are just stupid.

“It’s a moron on a forum. Who cares?” she said in her blog. “If you do care, if your ego is wrapped up in the drama, you are in the wrong job. It’s that simple.”

I actually got the chance to interview her a while back, and I’d have to say, she knows her MMO shiznit.
