Sam Fisher Suing Best Buy?

You know you are geek when a headline such as this catches your eye for a different reason. Apparently some poor bloke going by the name of Sam Fisher is suing a Best Buy in Texas after a klutzy employee dropped a 27″ TV on his head. Ouch! I hope he’s alright.
Bear with my geekdom here, but if this were the Sam Fisher of Splinter Cell fame, that Best Buy employee would certainly find themselves not quite making it to their car later that night. In fact, they just might wake up in a nearby dumpster the next morning with a very nasty headache.

If I was that guy’s friend, the jokes would flow like confetti at a ticket tape parade. Even with this incident, I’d visit him at the hospital and tell him something like, “All those years of training couldn’t prepare you for your toughest challenge to date. A best buy employee with butter fingers. You better hope one of those international terrorist groups don’t catch wind of this latest development or you can be sure the next tike you go on a mission, they’ll all be wearing blue shirts asking if you need assisstance with your HDTV purchase.”
