This shouldn’t come as much of a surprise, but TellTale Games has announced that the third season of the popular Sam and Max games are set to be released in early 2009. TellTale’s Emily Morganti recently sat down with TheBBPS to discuss the next season as well as some other new developments with the Freelance Police. For one, this fall will see the release of the first six episodes (Season One) on the Wii as a retail disc. She also mentioned they’re still looking at releasing the games through the XBLA and maybe PSN. All that is of course in addition to releasing episodes of Strong Bad’s Cool Game for Attractive People through WiiWare and for the PC this summer. In other words, you can expect to see a lot more awesomeness from TellTale through the next year.
