Telltale's not charging for that particular episode anymore. The episode is also currently in the free GameTap client if that's more your thing. You may be able to download the free episode though and then add it to your Steam client (I haven't tried it myself since I've already played through all of Season One). And as far as I know, you can download this one episode and play it directly from your computer for free forever. TellTale is basically just trying to encourage people to buy the rest of Season One and get excited for the premiere of Season Two this week.
