Lost Odyssey TV Trailer

Okay, this story might be written only as an excuse to post what the above TV spot, which I think is terrific. Still, Mistwalker and Final Fantasy creator Hironobu Sakaguchi have today released their second JPRG for Xbox 360, Lost Odyssey. (Which makes it, like, what? Three JRPGs in over two years for 360?)

I’m not normally one for JRPGs, but for some reason the more mature theme of this game has me really intrigued. This might just be the first console JRPG I’ve bought in years.

If you’re the type that absolutely obsesses over the story in your games, you should read Jonathan’s warning from last month – if you didn’t pre-order the game, you might miss out on a few nuggets. Maybe if you promise to pre-order a few more games, you’ll be able to convince a GameStop employee to give you the Lost Odyssey pre-order bonuses.
