Russian Girls Show Off Their Counterstrike Skills

We don’t hear about female gamers out of Russia too often, so this was definitely an interesting find for me. A team by the name of ‘Magapolis’ made up of all female gamers is making headlines with their Counterstrike skills. The girls are definitely becoming a legitimate force in gaming as they prove themselves as world championship caliber gamers. They were interviewed on Russia Today and had some interesting comments concerning what it’s like to compete against male gamers. Images of the girls follow the break.
“For now, unfortunately, the competition among female teams in Russia isn’t really strong and its often too easy to fight against ones of our kind. Playing against the boys is always hard. And hard, of course, means interesting. Victories against the boys bring us more delight,†said Olga Pak.
