RUMOR: Resident Evil 5 Co-op Demo Coming December 5

Capcom has been promising to release a playable demo of Resident Evil 5 sometime before the game is released on March 13, and according to the latest issue of Famitsu, a co-op demo will supposedly be ready to dive into on December 5.
Now, before you get all excited you have to realize that Famitsu is a Japanese magazine, so it is quite possible that if one is released, it will be for Japan only. Granted, Capcom would most likely release one for other regions as well, but possibly at a later date. Ergo, until we get official word from the powers that be at Capcom, don’t get overly anxious just yet.
For those of us who are a bit dubious about having to keep a partner alive through the whole game, or who do not really play co-op titles, a demo would be a good thing for us to play to see if we really want to participate in the next chapter of the Resident Evil series. Unlike Ashley in Resident Evil 4, we have heard that your partner will be present throughout the whole game once you come into contact with her. Great. At least with Ashley you did not have to deal with her constantly–because there were quite a few different occasions (other than the first hour of the game or so) that you did not have to mess with her at all. Hopefully, that will be the case with Resident Evil 5 as well, because my favorite part of the game was when she was taken away again.
