Rumor: LittleBigPlanet is PSP-Bound

Today’s rumor du jour is particularly exciting: a source has told CVG that LittleBigPlanet is currently in development for PSP at the Sony Studio Liverpool. There were no more details revealed, but the idea of LBP on a handheld is very exciting. The game itself would lend itself fairly well to being played on a handheld (it is a platformer, after all).
Of course, the logical leap would be some sort of connectivity with the PlayStation 3 version of the game, allowing you to transfer levels to being played or edited on either platform. That’s purely speculation, as Sony has yet to comment, but LBP seems like an ideal candidate for the PSP-PS3 connectivity treatment.
