Rumor: LittleBigPlanet Hitting Europe in September

Now take this with a grain of salt, because while I put stock in what Eurogamer is reporting, it’s not exactly clear how much sooner or later a US release of LittleBigPlanet would be. But if their source within Sony is accurate, LittleBigPlanet will arrive on store shelves in September. When contacted, a spokesperson declined to comment, leaving us to speculate.
All I can say is that I really hope we see LBP much sooner than September. Whether it’s a demo, beta or the full game, I’m absolutely dying to get my hands on the game, and I know I’m not the only one. I picked up a PlayStation 3 last August with the expectation that I’d be interacting with Home and LBP by the end of fall 07, and here we are in 2008 without any solid release date for two of the biggest hitters in Sony’s catalog.
