Rumor: Killzone 2 Levels Will Be 50 Minutes Long?

Apparently a new gaming-related TV show called “Playr” aired an episode recently where a Sony rep discussed the highly anticipated Killzone 2. Amongst a few expected improvements (advanced AI, new weapons) he also mentioned that each of the game’s levels will take about 45-50 minutes to complete. That’s obviously quite a lengthy amount of time, particularly when compared with other first-person shooters. Hopefully this is a sign that the years of development and numerous delays have been well-spent. Either way, the game still looks awesome.

I Watched THat =D
the game looks no better then Gears of War 1
Again, I see no Halo killer, or Gears of War killer for that matter, here.
Go Marlins!!!!
Looking to be a really amazing game. 45-50 minute long levels may be challenging in comparison to other FPS games, but, Killzone does sort of pave the way in its genre. (Did I mention the game looks fantabulous?)
Can you say .. Hype?
Each level is 45-50 minutes long….But how many levels are there? That’s the real question.
Playr is airing on Bravo and Bravo 2 in the UK. It basically replaces Gamer TV, even has similar airing slots. It does seem a little more organized and got rid of annoying voiced and scripted Sam Delany as well as a bunch of very amateurish inserts. Still no sign of an hour long show dedicated to games even though Playr does cover 1,5 hour of programming, starting with Playr (30 mins long) then Playr Extra (30 mins) and Playr Guide (30 mins of previously aired reviews and features reconfigured around a theme)
