Rumor Confirmed: Mr. Driller Online Heading to XBLA

Earlier this week, William reported on a rumor that Mr. Driller might be making its way to the Xbox Live Arcade. Well, I’d call that rumor confirmed as Famitsu has just posted confirmation from Namco Bandai. The game will have the usual quest and arcade modes, as well as new online multiplayer features. Up to four people will be able to battle each other or split up into teams. Personally, I probably lost way too many hours of my life to just the GBA version, so I’ll probably be doing the same all over again with this one. Hopefully, we get a release date soon, but until then, it looks like there’s a trailer up that shows how the new game will look (i.e. pretty much the same as always).
