Guitar Hero III may have come out not too long ago and has already become one of the most sought after items this holiday season, but that doesn’t mean Activision is slowing down any time soon. Rumor has it they’re already going into the testing phase for the next installment in the franchise, Guitar Hero IV. G4TV’s “The Feed” received a tip from “a reliable source” that tests are already beginning tomorrow on a small scale. They note that this could be a slip up with words, but considering Activision has stated their intentions to pump out sequels on at least a yearly basis, this doesn’t sound too unlikely. Maybe we’ll be getting a brand new game sooner rather than later.

It will never be; Rock Band. I think it will be another rushed product from Activision. Been there, done that.

Time is $$$. Activision will be selling Guitar hero until the pot runs dry, i doubt it will anytime soon.

its the same game mostly with new songs, the should make one game with addons and just keep the sets of songs for download or cheap song disks you can buy and add in to the current game. But they wouldnt make as much money, so they will keep pumping out Guitar hero 4,5,6 etc…….

Frets on fire is free, with a few mods its close to the in game play as Guitar hero 3. also you can import your GH songs to it. plug in your Xbox 360 controller and you are on your way. its FREE!!
