Before being moved to Rockstar London, Manhunt 2 was worked on by Rockstar Vienna, a studio that eventually was closed. The studio worked on the game for two years, and according to Rockstar Vienna producer Jurie Horneman, more than 55 staff members from his studio were left out of the credits in Manhunt 2.
Writing on his blog, Vienna said, “I am disappointed and outraged that Rockstar Games tries to pretend that Rockstar Vienna and the work we did on Manhunt 2 never happened – the work of over 50 people, who put years of their lives into the project, trying to make the best game they could. I am proud to have been a part of that team.”
He goes on to list a number of staff members and their positions while working at Rockstar Vienna. According to Horneman, he believes that much of the work Vienna did is in the game from having analyzed screenshots, previews, and the like.
If true, this certainly does not reflect well on Rockstar Games. Completely ignoring work done on a released game by not so much as acknowledging the individuals responsible in the game’s credits is just wrong.

You know, I was interested in this game, until I heard about this.
I bet the work they put into the game wasn’t up to par by Rockstar’s standards and everthing had to be reproduced. That’s why the studio is no longer open. No good Swedish polesmokers!
