RockBand Mic Quietly Released; Wii Version Revealed?

rockbandmic1.jpgLooks like the standalone peripherals for RockBand have already begun to quietly make their way to store shelves. There are reports coming in of people buying branded microphones for $50 in the U.S. right now. That’s not quite as interesting as three little letters written on the packaging though: W-I-I. Could someone in the manufacturing department missed the fact that the game isn’t available for the Wii? At this time, there’s been no announcement for a Wii version of RockBand, but this makes it seem like a possibility. Unless the mic is intended for an upcoming Virtual Console release of Hey You, Pikachu! (please, God, no).
